About Casey Donovan

Casey Donovan is an Aria Award winning singer, actress and indigenous rights spokesperson from Sydney Australia who is most recognised for winning the second season of Austalian Idol at the age of just 16. During her time on Idol Casey received the largest number of "touchdown"s in the history of the show, and was praised for her flawless vocal delivery.

Casey has topped the Australian charts with her hit single "Listen with Your Heart" and has gone plantinum five times.

Since her time on Idol, Casey has enjoyed a varied career in the arts, which has included performing at the Commonwealth Games closing ceremony in 2006, starring in the touring stage production of the Sapphires, and a recent return to pop music following a three year hiatus, with her charting single "Big, Beautiful & Sexy".

Donovan previously held the record for most platinum sales for a solo performer under the age of 18 in Australia, and has been recognised for her work with indigenous communities around Australia, acting as an advocate for the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence.
